"Just thought you'd like to know after all that effort PortaSki worked a treat. Rolled the bag along with no trouble, I got some envious looks as I made my way through Gatwick. And on my return I was tight to catch my connection and wouldn't have made it had I had to carry my skis; wonderful!!!

I attach a couple of photos to show how I did it. Strapped the skis together at the tail to hold firm in the bag, strapped the PortaSki tight over the end of the bag, zipped up and then folded the bag over, fixing with another skip strap to make it tight and tidy. Was able to take the wheels off at check in and refit on arrival without taking off the second strap, no problem. Didn't want to leave the wheels on in transit as baggage handlers are not the most gentle beings!! Didn't solve the problem of the handle as strap was too short- used the webbing on the bag which was ok.

If you could supply a couple of longer lengths of Portaski strap with Velcro, one for the handle and the other to go round the bag it would make it a much more versatile item and be good advertising. It's impossible to find a small single ski bag with wheels, not everyone wants a coffin! Or you could develop a PortaSki bag, tapered to fit ski tails maybe with a fixing to attach the Portaski or with the wheels set through a hole at the end, I did think about cutting my bag to do this but didn't really have time to think it through. I'll take my commission when you've increased your sales - ha,ha!!

We did use it in resort also as my friend has to hire skis and it was a long walk from the shop back to our hotel. Otherwise we didn't really have a need for it.

Oh, and when I was reading the instructions I think the pictures on your box are in the wrong order. And it would be helpful to have a paper copy as when we were in resort I couldn't remember precisely how it should work with the poles and they kept slipping."

"I found Portaski on the internet when I was searching for a wheeled ski bag that holds 1 pair of skis and boots. Apparently those don't exist (at least I couldn't find any). I bought the Portaski because it will 'add wheels' to my current wheel-less bag and give the functionality I'm looking for.
